Anyone want to continue after this?

If so, we should invite some people from other continents as well, in pairs (hmm, lets call it Noah’s arc) so they can also write in their own language and not get a chance to get lonely. Saw a movie from India yesterday, so colorful. But what a weird musical videoclip intermezzo’s. Ended in some bloody riots though.

Anyway, had an idea some years ago – even got some sort of copyright on it, but that had to do with the people I was working with back then. The idea involved – among other things – to invite people to write on a regular basis about their daily live, with specials from scientists, artists, politicians, etc. Why would they want to work on it? Because the plan was to bury the complete contents once a year on an important place on an indestructible medium, and we would try to shoot the whole contents in space in about ten years. (timecapsules) The things we write can be discovered by the archeolegists from the future, or by aliens from outer space.

Does this sound crazy? Of course not.

• Ever heard about the doomsday books? In England, when the first millennium approached everything that was thought to be of importance was written down in the so called doomsday books. It is a gold mine for historians.
• And some years ago the NASA was about to shoot a capsule into space containing home made CD’s together with people’s DNA samples.
• Some people I know here in Groningen made a movie ‘Live on earth explained to aliens from outer space’ and some Russian scientist is really thinking about the idea to send the movie to outer space.
