Os protestos contra uma possível guerra contra o Iraque ganharam seu Ground Zero. Protest '0' (Protest Zero) é mais um projeto utilizando o blog colaborativo open source Wiki gerenciado pelo Projeto Metáfora. Protests against a possible war o Iraq gained their Ground Zero. Tatiana Wells, integrante do Metáfora, iniciou Protest '0' como um projeto pessoal. Após receber várias mensagens em seu email contra a guerra do Iraque, Wells resolveu criar uma página que desse visibilidade a todos esses depoimentos. Tatiana, member of Metáfora, initiated Protest '0' as a personal project. After receiving too many messages at her e-mail, she decided to do a page that could give visibility to all this testimonies.

"A idéia é que esses protestos não percam seu valor somente pela disseminação via e-mail, ou que pareçam fenômenos isolados", afirmou a integrante do Metáfora. “The idea was that all of these protests should not lose their value by only being distributed via e-mail or appear as isolated phenomenon”.

O resultado foi um protesto anti-guerra colaborativo. Qualquer internauta pode ir até o Protest '0' e deixar textos anti-guerra ou apontar links onde o protesto também aconteça. The result was a collaborative anti-war protest. Anyone accessing the internet can go to the site and leave anti-war texts, impressions or links pointing to other protests.

Assim como no Ground Zero (Ponto Zero), o nome do terreno onde ficava o WTC de Nova York após os bombardeios, Protest '0' pretende ser um amealhado de recordações e textos esparsos. "A página é bem simples e formatada em um sistema de edição de texto em tempo real (Wiki), o que significa que qualquer um pode publicar ali o seu depoimento a qualquer hora", afirma Wells. Atualmente Protest '0' reproduz duas cartas, uma do inglês Terry Jones, do grupo Monty Python, e outra de Noam Chomsky", continua a integrante do Metáfora. “The page is very simple and it works on an open source real-time content system (Wiki), that meaning that anyone can publish their text at anytime”, says Wells. Currently the site has two letters, one from Monty Python’s Terry Jones and another from Noam Chomsky.
